We both absolutely LOVE and ADORE cookbooks. How could we do what we do without getting some inspiration from some incredible professionals out there who really know their stuff! Here we will share our personal stack of cookbooks and resources we find really helpful, hopefully you will too.
This is a picture from my (Karo) personal collection of books, i love all of them! I am an absolute collector and the list of “must have cookbooks” is pretty much endless. But here we go, my books:

These cookbooks are a daily reference for me & an absolute must to have, especially VEGANOMICON by Isa Chandra Moskowitz & Terry Hope Romero is the one & only vegan bible if you ask me, Isa also has an amazing blog called Post Punk Kitchen: www.theppk.com

SIMPLE RECIPES FOR JOY by Sharon Gannon, my dear teacher, friend and guide made such a wonderful book, full of really nice recipes and the book is so wonderful, with beautiful pictures of the food but also of Sharon, David and the life they live, it gives such a nice view of their missions and visions and the pictures of their “deer friends” in it, the animal beings they share their lives with, it’s endearing and magical.

EASY VEGAN by Sue Quinn: Lisa bought this book first and i immediately followed, she has the Dutch version and i have the English version, an incredible book, includes really useful nutritional information with beautiful pictures, we absolutely love the book!
MY NEW ROOTS by Sarah Britton: an incredible book, incredible website. What an inspiration! Mind-blowing stuff. Check HERE the website full of goodness. See even has an app, which of course we have!
HOMEMADE VEGAN PANTRY- The art of making your own staples by Miyoko Schinner
ARTISAN VEGAN CHEESE– by Miyoko Schinner this without a doubt is my absolute bible! Miyoko is the QUEEN OF VEGAN CHEESE, she is such an incredible guide and professional with bucket loads of knowledge and she writes so lovely, i am a huge fan and am really grateful with having her in this world!

SIMPLY VEGAN & VEGAN HANDBOOK by Debra Wasserman (these contain not just amazing recipes but lots of information on vegan nutrition, meal plans, research, articles etc)

La Veganista– Nicole Just Another Vegan German Rockstar, she has a great website too and she holds cooking classes in Berlin, not to be missed Berliners!

VEGAN BODYBUILDING I had the pleasure to meet the lovely Robert Cheeke who runs this website and is a very lovely, kind, amazing, inspiring, knowledgeable human being, he wrote a few books too! Check it out.
