MINDFUL W/ LISA
Meditation is the main instrument of the Mindfulness practice. In mindfulness meditation we are focusing on our breath and body. We are using the breath as anchor of the present moment and tune into our body to improve our experience of internal and external stimuli of that moment and to reconnect with our senses. Typical mindfulness meditation practices are observing the breath, the body scan (in which we examine all parts of our body and the sensations), walking meditation and loving kindness meditation. By calming down the body we are creating clarity of the mind. Imagine our body was a house and the windows and door represent our senses, disturbing thoughts and distraction are heavy curtains, drapes and shutters that keep the windows closed. The practice of Mindfulness helps us the lift the curtains and shutters, open the windows and let fresh air come into our house.
Lisa has a professional background in Psychology, her true passion lies in connecting and working with people! While travelling around Europe, Asia and Australia she got inspired to make a change in her own live; she turned to a more environmental friendly & vegan lifestyle, she started to educate herself in meditation and mindfulness. Her mission is to combine & implement her professional background with these new influences to serve & help others to make a change in their life.
