We are very proud of our in-house vegan cheese brand: GOPAL VEGAN CHEESE. Created, found and owned by our Head Chef and Co-Founder: Karo Tak.
The cheeses are all made from organic cashew nuts and contain only organic products, we have three hard cheeses and two cheese spreads, one of the spreads is actually tofu based and therefor NUT FREE, for those who have allergies. There are NO chemicals used in the process what so ever, we work with natural pro-biotics to harden the cheeses, which is a fermented product from buckwheat grains (gluten free) which is called: rejuvelac. Gopal Cheese was launched at the beginning of December 2015, now a year later and with a home at FOODPRINTZ CAFÉ the cheese business is really taking off here in Lisbon, with a huge following of very happy, regular and enthusiastic customers who always return for more.
